Palaxis Heavy Industries is a manufacturing and mining corporation based out of the Barias System. Palaxis Heavy Industries is a subsidiary corporation of Diamond Enterprises.

History

Founded in 774 ED, Palaxis Heavy Industries was an early aquisition of Diamond Enterprises in the Continuous in 1432 ED, absorbing the mining giant to their fold and diversifying the corporation into heavy arms manufacturing to construct state-of-the-art mechanized weaponry such as space and land born mechanized infantry units, freighter spacecraft, and militarized firearms. Palaxis Heavy Industries deals with congolmerate organizations seeking to outfit their soldiers with top of the line firepower. Palaxis' R&D division is supplemented with information granted to their design team through Diamond Enterprises from Multiversal shareholders, and as such have access to a broad range of extra-planar technology and science in their designs. Notably, Palaxis has on a multiversal scale been playing both sides of the field in the Artel/Alliance struggle in the Artelian System, outfitting both the Alliance of Free Worlds and acting as an outsourced production company for the Empire of Artel, they also have had dealings with the R Syndicate and assisted in the manufacture of one of the Pilgrimage Fleet vessels for the Endless. Palaxis Heavy Industries has thousands of branch divisions scattered across the Continuous and frequently seeks to bolster their technological advancement through multiversal aquisitions. Though without their own ability to travel into the Multiverse at large, they must rely on what they are given by Diamond Enterprises. |

Successes
The first and most prominent success of Palaxis Heavy was the invention of the False Axis Repulsive Field Generator System in 2276 ED by means of extrapolating information from a multiversal world's technology and applying it to Etheric applications in the Continuous, creating a powerful and highly advanced mechanized offensive and defensive system, boosting the power output of traditional bipedal mechs beyond their previous limitations.
Currently the Palaxis corporation is seeking to develop the next evolution in starship engines that will allow unrestricted access into multiversal iterations by any and all who purchase Palaxis technology. Many multiversal organizations are leary of Palaxis' technological developments and the potential danger such readily available hardware could have on other worlds.
It is unknown how Palaxis is planning on creating such a drive engine.
Corporate Underworld
Despite outward appearances, Palaxis Heavy Industries has been shifting its focus more towards military applications in the last several hundred years. Since the attack by Vire Agraumar on the Eternal City, the Palaxis corporation has been eyeing the Eternals like a wounded animal, though they have made no outward moves, they secretly desire to forcibly aquire the Eternals Memory Pool and COFFIN technology from them; some of the most closely guarded secrets in the Continuous.
Leadership
Palaxis Heavy Industries is currently headed by Vernon Astagale a Vagrant whom served time on the Prison Plane of Aggamemnon. Vernon has done his best to keep his status as a Vagrant in the dark, and it is not known how or when he escaped Aggamemnon.
