The Sigma is dragged back to the Celestial Realm to face the High Council for having interfered with the actions of the Omega. Meanwhile, Mishnu reveals to Saint that the Creator is dying and the Essence of a lone warrior is needed to save her. A Tournament must be held one last time. Karsh (Baka) overcomes all obstacles, physical and personal, to win against incredible odds. During the Tournament, the sly Ish'Leth seeks revenge on Saint and shows him the truth about his human past. Ish'Leth is defeated but The Creator rejects Karsh's Essence and refuses to be saved. Instead, a child is born to the world, the human embodiment of the Creator, and Saint, tired from his years of dedicated service as an Eternal, decides to care for the child until kingdom come.
