Tardaris

Tardaris is the Sixth planet and a gas-giant in the Ainar System, as such is it considered a Class L world.

Details

Tardaris has an axial tilt of 6.11' and is 6.2 AUs away from its principal star. Tardaris' atmosphere is composed of 90% hydrogen and 5% helium and 5%methane withh trace amounts of water vapor, ammonia, barium and free floating rock that has been pulled from floating debris in the system. There are also traces of carbon, ethane, hydrogen sulphide, neon, oxygen, and sulphur.

Tardaris is plagued by constant lightning storms and an erratic orbital pattern. There is a theory that experiments carried out by the Endless on this world before the collapse of their society caused an incident in which ruptured planar gateways were opened within the atmosphere of Tardaris with connections to the The Weaving. Truth surrounding the origins of this incident or how stable the doorways into the Weaving have remained are uncertain at best.

Satellites

Tardaris has one satellite.

Xir: A frozen moon roughly one-fifth the size of Tardaris, Xir is a icy wildswept moon with a thin atmosphere composed primarially of neon and hydrogen. The surface of Tardaris and its warm internal temperature poses the possibility of warm subterranean oceans beneath its frozen surface.
